Digital planning is when you use a PDF annotation app (Penly, Goodnotes, OneNote, etc) to do all your planning! Similar to a Happy Planner or an Erin Condren planner, they are perfectly functional and often have a lot of really useful tools! I will link below my favorite digital planner that I use every day!
Digital planners function the same as your usual paper planner. In fact, you can buy all sort of beautiful and functional digital stickers for your planner also! Better yet, they are way cheaper than printed stickers! To check out the stickers I have available, check out my shop here! You can start digital planning on nearly any device. iPhone, Android, iPad, desktop, you name it!
The first step is finding a digital planner that you love. I use Etsy to shop for planners because they are some really amazing creators out there who make some pretty awesome ones with lots of cool functions. Digital planning isn’t just for planners, either. You can use digital scrapbooks and digital to-do lists also! I would recommend starting out by looking around Etsy for something you like. Make sure you have some sort of annotation app.
There are plenty for Apple users like Goodnotes which can be used on iPhone and iPad. For android users, I would recommend using Penly or OneNote! Digital planning using these apps can be so much cheaper and it doesn’t take up space on your desk like a paper planner would! Plus, it’s fun to be as creative as possible. Yes! Digital planning will actually help you stay on track of all your activities and things on your to-do list. It’s much easier because we are all typically on our devices anyways, so we remember to check. Plus, it’s with you wherever you go! There’s no need to remember to bring your planner everywhere or be upset if you forgot it. You just have it in your phone! Plus, most planners have options for how you want your layout to be. Lots of planners have weekly, monthly, or even hourly layouts. If you are super disorganized and busy like me, the hourly layout will be your best friend!
